FOUND Negatives
My sister in law bought for me some old Kodak 35mm metal film canisters at an estate sale, in Richmond, VA. She didn’t know when she bought them that each canister contained a roll of developed black and white negatives. Of course I wanted to see what was on them, so I set up a little scanning station to scan them with a dslr, 50mm lens, and extension tubes.
Below is the gallery of scans. This is not ALL of the frames on the roll, I did some editing. I kept all of the photos with people in them, and some of the landscapes. Except for a few photos of their houses (Included), the landscapes seem to be mostly vacation pictures. There are just over 170 photos in the gallery.
As Robin Williams’ character said in “One Hour Photo”, "People take pictures of the happy moments in their lives... No one ever takes a photograph of something they want to forget"
